- The 51st Annual State Science and Engineeering
Fair of Florida was held April 19-21, 2006 at the Orange County
Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. Awards
Winners for 2006.
- The 26th Annual Hillsborough Regional
Science and Engineering Fair will be held at the USF Sun Dome
for all grades K-12 on February 14th and 15th, 2006. Judging
for Junior/Senior Division will occur on Wednesday, February
14th between the hours of noon and 4 pm. If you would like to
help judging contact nancey Marsh at 813-272-4824. The AFPC will
award four (4) $25.00 awards at the fair.
- The 25th Annual Hillsborough Regional
Science and Engineering Fair will be held at the USF Sun Dome
for all grades K-12 on February 23rd and 24th, 2005. Judging
for Junior/Senior Division will occur on Wednesday, February
23rd between the hours of noon and 4pm. They are expecting approximately
300 projects in grades 6 through 12 from over 70 public and private
Hillsborough County Middle and Secondary schools. If you would

Regional Science and Engineering Fair on February 25, 2005.
- The 50th Annual State Science and Engineering
Fair of Florida will be held on April 6-8, 2005 at the Orange
County, Convention Center, Orlando. Approximately 900 outstanding
student science research projects will be entered in one of the
two Sections : Senior (9-12 grades) and Junior (6-8 grades).
Students will compete for Place Awards, Special Awards, Scholarship
Awards, Opportunity Awards and Grand Awards. Each project will
be placed into one of the 14 Categories established. If you are

- The 2004 State Science and Engineering Fair
will be held in Jacksonville, Florida at the Prime F. Osborn
Center. The fair will begin on Wednesday April 14, 2004 and conclude
with the awards ceremony on Friday April 16, 2004. The AFPC will
award $510 at the 49th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair
of Florida on April 15, 2004. The Science and Engineering Fair
is Administered by Florida Foundation For Future Scientist at
the University of Central Florida. Websites for information about

- Advances the purpose of the Assocation to
member companies, International trade organizations, and the
scientific community. Encourages community awareness by providing
recognition to students and teachers for excellence in sciences
related to the phosphate industry.
- The AFPC will award $505.00 at the 48th Annual
State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida on Thursday, April
10th, 2003 at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville
Florida. The Science and Engineering Fair is Administered by
Florida Foundation For Future Scientist at the University of

- The AFPC will award $505.00 at the 47th Annual
State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida on Thursday, April
11, 2002 at the Lakeland Civic Center, Lakeland, Florida. $100
awards will be given in the Senior Division for Chemistry, Earth
and Science and Environmental Sciences. In the Junior Division,
$35 awards will be in in Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences
and Environmental Sciences. One additional $100 award will be
given at the judge's discretion for a project that is chosen.
Judging will be based on relationship to phosphate mining and
chemistry related issues. Approximately 900 student science research
projects will be entered in one of two Sections of the SSEF:
Senior (9-12 grades and Junior (6-8 grades). Students will complete
for Place Awards, Special Awards, Scholarship Awards, Opportunity
Awards, and Grand Awards.
- The Hillsborough County School Board and
the Florida Foundation for Future Scientists are conducting the
22nd Annual Hillsborough Regional Science and Engineering Fair
at the USF Sun Dome for all grades K - 12 on February 27th and
28th, 2002. Judging for Junior/Senior Division will occur on
Wednesday, February 27th between the hours of noon and 4:00 p.m.
The projects at the Regional Fair represents students's work
which placed in a school Science Fair. These students are looking
forward to the regional competition, and appreciate the time
and effort each person donates to make it a success. We are expecting
300 projects in grades 6 through 12 from over 70 public and private
Hillsborough County Middle and Secondary schools. There will
be twenty-six students who will represent Hillsborough County
in the 2002 State Science Fair in April, in Lakeland where over
$200,000 worth of scholarships and awards will be given. Winners
