  • $100 award was given to Zankhana Raval from Brevard Intracoastal in Senior Biochemistry for research on "Functional Genomics of Arabidopsis thaliana T-DNA Knockout Mutants."
  • $35 award was given to Matthew Jones from Oaks Middle School in Junior Botany for research on "The Effect of Different Fertilizers and Soils on Three Varieties of Young Palms."
  • $100 award was given to Christopher E. Duncan from Spingstead High School in Senior Chemistry for research on "An Analysis of Content of Phosphate, Nitrate and Nitrate (NOx), Total Nitrogen, and Sugar in Citrus Fruit Juices."
  • $35 award was given to Samantha M. Mooren from Stambaugh Bay Point Middle School in Junior Chemistry for research on "What Effect does Acid Rain Have on the Soil's pH and it's Buffering Capacity?"
  • $100 award was given to Christopher B. Komanski from Lake Highland Preparatory School in Senior Engineering for research and development of "Cost Effective Digital Radiography."
  • $100 award was given to Ashely E. Blazina from Osceola High School in Senior Environmental Science for research on "Remediation of Nitrate and Nitrite from Water Using Zero-Valent Iron Phase II."
  • $35 award was given to Victor C. Martin from Nova Middle School in Junior Environmental Science for research on "Do Nitrogen and Potassium Based Fertilizers in Excess Have the Same Negative Effect on the Pontideria cordata as Phosphorus Based Fertilizers in Excess?"
